What Can I Expect During Ultherapy?
After arriving at our modern office, you will be asked to get comfortable in one of our treatment rooms. A member of our team will prepare the skin to be treated, which can include the use of a local anesthetic. Once the skin is prepped and you are ready, a handpiece that uses ultrasound energy waves will be passed across your skin. Based on how many areas you are having treated, your procedure can take anywhere from 30 – 90 minutes. It is very common for your skin to look slightly red and swollen. You can use cold packs and take over-the-counter pain medication to decrease any pain and inflammation. You may put on makeup after your treatment and continue your day as usual.
