Before the treatment begins, a member of our team will take a sample of your blood to process in a centrifuge machine to separate the platelet-rich plasma. Microneedling will create micro-injuries in the treatment area to promote the body's production of collagen and elastin, which in itself has anti-stretch mark properties. When injected back into the skin, PRP has several prominent growth factors that can boost the anti-stretch mark effects of microneedling. Stretch mark removal with PRP is performed in one of our pristine treatment rooms at our office. Most patients experience minimal discomfort and no downtime after their treatment is complete.
